Comment: Place has a wide open feel to it, which is helped by it's location - wide open countryside.
Usual affair - enter your details on the gate-side terminal then make you way around to the intake office so they can assign a bar to you. Office staff are friendly, but can be a little slow to respond.
Once on your assigned bay then place your keys on the chain and press the big red mushroom. What you do next is up to you. You can either go back to the drivers lounge and wait there - it's comfy enough, with cushioned bench seats and tables, or you can go back to your cab and have a nap. There's a paper cup vending machine along with another selling choggie bars and energy drinks.
When I was there they were quite slow to start tipping me, despite there being only a few bays in use, they were also quite slow to notify the office staff that they had actually finished tipping me.
Overall Sherburn is certainly one of Sainsburys better sites, but as always, there's plenty of room for improvement.
