Comment: We pick up trays from here to return to one of our clients. It's located in the Sainsburys site so is easy to get to,and at least this one has more than one bay for general use (See Basingstoke site) so at least we're not wasting so much time waiting.
Once on the bay hang up your keys on the hook at the side of the bay and give your details to the office staff through their little window and return to your cab. Put you feet up and await the green light. If they get your order right you can be in and out reasonably quickly. If, however they get your order wrong, and if it's close to their shift change you could be waiting a very long time.
The last time I was there I needed to ask the tug driver something to which he rudely responded 'What?!'. So I asked him again. He removed his ear-buds and I had to ask him a third time. Now, as someone who is meant to be in charge of the yard, with danger all around, ensuring the safety of everyone who uses that yard, the last thing I would expect is for him to be more focused on what he was listening to rather than the goings on in that yard.
There are literally no facilities available here. If you need the toilet then you have to walk to any of the Drivers lounges attached to the actual Sainsburys warehouse (so don't leave it too late to go!).
