Easy site to get to, and once booked in at the gatehouse they'll give you a bay number, park on the bay then hand your keys in at the Transport Office. Whereupon you can sit in your cab until you're done, or you can pop along to the canteen, and if you time it right, enjoy a cooked meal. The menu does vary from day to day, and it's mostly OK. The chips are always under-cooked, and the resultant bad stomach does get better very quickly. The toilets are just outside the canteen and are usually kept very clean despite the number of warehouse staff who use them
In my experience they are quick to both unload and load so you may not be able to get a full 45 in here.
The Tug drivers can be complete dicks - more than once I've had one park right in front of me when I'm clearly getting ready to pull out, then disappear for five minutes! Obviously this being done on purpose as there's been plenty of room in the yard elsewhere. This tug-driver-dickery is also an issue at Arla's other sites too.

Goods Out staff are good and friendly enough, and the warehouse staff are quick to load.
Gate house staff are completely the opposite. There used to be a toothless English guy, and an Eastern European woman who were really good at their job, and you could have a laugh with. There was also an Asian woman who was good too. Now there's two sub-saharan's who are ignorant as hell.
On arriving the first guy in the gate house was loudly chewing his gum with open mouth, had no manners whatsoever, and mumbled his words. On leaving the out guy was just as bad, only this one may have been female, it was hard to tell.
If companies are determined to only employ the lowest of the low, and get rid of the decent ones, then hopefully they'll all go bust.
